- So goes January…?
- You may have heard the saying “So goes January, so goes the year”. This isn’t necessarily true; 7 of the last 13 Januarys were negative and all 7 finished the year higher.
- How much the Fed raises rates is key
- There has been a lot of speculation around how much the Fed will be raising interest rates. Since 1994, asset classes have tended to perform better following total increases of <1% versus 1% or more.
- Historic alternative fund flows
- Flows into alternative funds hit an all-time annual high last year of $33.4B, nearly 65% more than the previous high of $20.9B in 2013.
